On Sunday, June 23rd the City of Mt. Vernon, Mayor Davis & Maggie Spillanes Bar & Restaurant will be hosting an Outdoor Charity Concert “Summer Fest” on Gramatan Avenue in Mount Vernon, NY.
On August 1st, 2012 Abigail Rose Wonderly, Age 9 and Matthew Shawn, Age 7 and their parents were in a terrible car accident. Their parents were killed instantly & the children sustained injuries. All of the proceeds from this event will be donated to the Wonderly Children. Please help us to give them every chance they deserve.
We are planning an event filled with fun and excitement, which will be memorable for all. The concert will start at 1pm with live music from “Superhero” band followed by the very popular Irish band “Shilelagh’s Law” playing from 5-9pm, the night will cap off with DJ A-Game on Maggie Spillanes Rooftop at 9pm.
We are asking for your assistance to make our 1st Annual Summer Fest a success! We gratefully request that Gramatan Avenue from Broad Street to Center Street be closed on Sunday June 23rd between the hours of 8am – 10pm to accommodate this great charitable opportunity.
